Our Timber fire doors and frames are made to order by our BWF certified UK manufacturing partners and are certified under the BWF Fire Door Alliance Scheme. Every door is supplied with a certificate and relevant markings to verify the door's fire integrity.
Single, Double or One-and-Half Doors
We offer single leafs, double doors or door and a half options with square or rebated meeting stiles. Supplied with real wood veneer, Formica laminate or a choice of plain finish and paint options our range of FD30 and FD60 doors can be made to fit in with your building’s style.
Our fire rated doors and door frames are available with 30 minute (FD30) and 60 minute (FD60) fire ratings and we offer a wide range of styles, finishes, glazing options, ironmongery and intumescent strips.
Steel Fire Doors
We supply a range of custom-made steel fire rated doors that have been independently tested for fire resistance to a minimum of 4 hours and cover all FD30, FD60, FD120, FD180 and FD240 requirements.
Ideal for applications such as commercial and industrial premises, they can also be used as a connecting door from your garage into your home. As they have been fully certified they are compliant with fire safety regulations as required by UK law and will help to slow the spread of fire in an emergency situation.
Each fire-resistant door leaf is fitted with three stainless steel hinges and dog bolts, fire rated doors seals and a specialist infill with internal re-enforcement. From fire rated entry doors that are ideal for frequent access, to fire rated louvre doors that work well for ventilation, all of our security doors protect both belongings, as well as people, from the event of a fire.
Fire and Smoke Curtains
The advantage of a Fire Curtain is that it has a Fabric Kevlar curtain, which means it coils into a smaller box, compared with a Fire Shutter. This is ideal when you are limited on headroom. A fire curtain is designed to be in the up position at all times and it will only close in a fire situation. The shutters have been independently tested and certified.
The Fire Curtains are only available with a Single Phase Tube Motor. The fire curtain is supplied as standard with a control panel which includes the Fire Alarm Relay, Staged Decent and Battery Backup. A switch can be fitted to the fire curtain to reset it after a fire activation. There is also the option of an emergency release button, in case someone gets trapped behind a closed fire curtain.
Smoke & Fire curtains Smoke Seal provides up to a 4-hour Fire Resistance Approved to British and European Standards.
Fire Rated Roller Shutters
All our fire shutters come in various powder coated colours. Different shutters have different fireproof ratings, measured in hours, depending on the customers requirements.
We off Fire Shutters consisting of a galvanised steel slatted curtain and galvanised steel box assembly and guide rails. our 1-4hour rated fire shutters are designed to be a security barrier during normal use and to be closed automatically during a test or an emergency situation, in the event of receiving a fire alarm signal, the fire shutter will activate and perform a powered descent to create a fire resistant barrier.
Manual Fire Shutters can be activated by a thermal fusible link release unit when the local temperature reaches 68 degrees centigrade. The shutter will self-close under a controlled descent. This feature also benefits from a manual test and re-set facility.
